Pump Station Trash Rake Improvements (Douglasdale, Hampton, and McCloy)

The City of Richmond, Virginia (the "City"), on behalf of the Department of Public Utilities ("DPU"), seeks bids from qualified firms to provide general contracting services for the Trash Rake Improvements project (the "Project"). The Project will entail site work, demolition, concrete, painting, metals, mechanical, electrical, and other related specialties necessary to improve the City's trash rake systems (the "Work"). Specific details regarding the nature and prosecution of the Work are provided below in the Statement of Work.

Some of the City's trash rakes are inefficient and need to be better fitted against the walls they use to buttress and retain the extrication. The Work is intended to provide g reater efficiency by enabling the City to clear the extrication with fewer cycles.
