1: Transscleral Flood Illumination (TFI) add-on module for the rtx1 Adaptive Optics Retinal Camera

2: The Transscleral flood illumination module for the rtx1 extends the imaging capability of the

rtx1 Adaptive Optics camera. It provides a tool for investigating retinal anatomy, pathology and

therapy at the microscopic scale beyond photoreceptors. This technology enables visualization of

small retinal structures that are usually invisible in adaptive optics images. This technology

could prove helpful in clinical trials and demonstrate capability in monitoring the progression of

various ocular diseases at a cellular level before significant damage sets in
