Important Details:
1. All fees must include applicable taxes, freight, and any other related charges.
2. Pricing must include the disposal of all debris and parts generated by this work.
3. Work must be performed during normal business hours and scheduled in advance, Monday
through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
4. Materials of similar design may be considered; however, the University reserves the
right to determine equivalency.
5. Requests for substitutions must be submitted in writing, including detailed
specifications and a statement of variances, no later than 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2025.
6. Responses to substitution requests will be issued by 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, December
13, 2025.
7. Quotes must remain valid for 90 days.
8. Bidders must provide pricing for all items listed.

Awardee Documentation Requirements:
Prior to the issuance of a purchase order, the awarded vendor must provide:
1. Hawaii Compliance Express Certificate of Vendor Compliance.
2. Certificate of Insurance
3. Signed Superquote Award Notice
Important Note: No materials are to be purchased until an approved purchase order has
been issued.
Product Specifications:
1. Furnish and install one (1) rolling steel door.
2. Solid galvanized non-insulated 22-gauge slats, factory-finished in tan, with angle
iron guides.
3. 10,000-cycle torsion spring assembly with hood and double-angle bottom bar.
4. Approximate door size: 8\'0\" x 10\'0\" (vendor to verify).
5. One (1) industrial-duty motor operator (1/2 HP, 115V, 1PH) with a three-button wall
station; constant pressure to close; no safety edge.
5. Removal and disposal of existing door and operator.
6. Four-hour rated door and fire-rated operator.
