Summary
Cobb County ("County" or "Owner") is issuing this solicitation for South Cobb Water
Reclamation Facility Secondary Clarifier Rehabilitations. Submissions shall be received before
12:00 pm on Thursday, August 27, 2026, via the County's eProcurement Portal at
https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/cobbcoga. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Background
Rehabilitation of 4 of the 5 secondary clarifiers, with #3 currently failed and in need of timely
repairs. Rehabilitation efforts include but are not limited to, cleaning of all surfaces, rebuilding
drive and mechanism for #3, concrete repairs and painting of metal surfaces, replacement of
scum baffle, effluent weirs, scum beach supports, inner and outer feed wells and other items
further outlined in the construction documents.
