The Town of Vernon, Connecticut is requesting proposals from qualified firms to perform a facilities condition assessment of multiple town buildings. The assessment will include inspecting and reporting to determine the condition of each facility listed, deferred maintenance, potential hazards, ADA issues, and cost estimation for repairs, etc. A firm must have a demonstrated experience in providing such service and adhere to standards and requirements typical for such service. There will be a mandatory walk-through of all buildings under this contract. The walk-through will be performed over a two-day period. Walk-through of Town Hall, Annex and Citizens Block will begin at 9:00 am on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, starting at 8 Park Place, Vernon, Connecticut 06066. Walk-through of Fire Station 541 and Pump Stations will begin at 9:00 am on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, starting at 5 Prospect Street, Vernon, Connecticut 06066.

Answers to questions received will be posted by Thursday, February 13, 2025, on the Town’s website at https://www.vernon-ct.gov/government/bid-opportunities and at the Connecticut State Department of Administrative Services (DAS) at https://portal.ct.gov/das by referencing Contract #2149. It is the sole responsibility of the respondent to review any or all addendum or question responses related to this RFP.
