THE FOLLOWING CHANGES, DELETIONS, AND/OR ADDITIONS TO THE DRAWINGS AND/OR
PROJECT MANUAL ON THE ABOVE REFERENCED PROJECT SHALL BECOME A PART OF THE
CONTRACT DOCUMENTS.
Item No. 1 - Bid Date and Pre-bid Meeting
A. Bids will be received no later than 2:00 p.m. on October 13, 2026.
B. A pre-bid meeting was held at the project site on October 1, 2026. See attached sign-in sheet for
list of attendees
C. All questions shall be sent to the Architect of record, Steve Faust at sfaust@mathesbrierre.com.

Item No. 4 - Electrical
A. As a clarification on the load shedding if ATS-1, see specific note 1 on sheet E101 and the
schematic feeder diagram on sheet E301.
Item No. 5 - Miscellaneous Items
A. Below items were stated at the pre-bid meeting and are included in the Project
Manual, with added or revised items bolded below:
1. The building and areas adjacent to the construction areas will be in use by the public during the
construction time. See Section 01100-Summaryof Work for additional working conditions and
work restrictions.
2. The Bidder shall agree to achieve Substantial Completion of the entire Work that is the subject of
the Contract Documents within the time set forth in the Agreement Between the Owner and the
Contractor, AIA Document A101, as modified by the Owner, which is 250 consecutive calendar
days, and agrees that this Contract Time will commence on the date specified in the written
"Notice to Proceed" from the Owner.

3. All questions shall be sent to the Architect of record, Steve Faust at
sfaust@mathesbrierre.com.
4. Alternate No.1: Added cost to replace the flooring at all stair landings with new flooring specified
in Section 096500 and as indicated on the drawings. Provide all preparation work including
removal of existing flooring and removing existing adhesive as required for the new flooring
5. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES:. The Contractor and the Contractor's Surety shall be liable for and
shall pay to the Owner Liquidated Damages, which shall not be considered a penalty, in the
amount of $700.00 per calendar day, for each calendar day (Saturdays, Sundays, and legal
holidays included) that Substantial Completion is delayed beyond the time set forth in the
Contract Documents. In addition, the Contractor and the Contractor's Surety shall be liable for
and shall pay to the Owner Liquidated Damages, which shall not be considered a penalty, in
the amount of $700.00 per calendar day, for each calendar day (Saturdays, Sundays, and legal
holidays included) that the Contractor fails to complete the Punch List beyond forty five (45)
days from the date of Substantial Completion
6. The School has tax-exempt status for materials. Bid shall include this provision for
pricing/purchasing of materials. Contractor shall provide all documentation required for the
processing of the exemption.
7. Bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to 5 percent of the base bid and all additive
alternates in the form of either a certified check or a bid bond.
8. Instructions for post-bid documents, including specific documents and timing of their submission
9. A Performance and a Payment Bond are required.
10. In addition to Section 011400, see Section 017300 - Execution for additional cutting and
patching requirements.
11. Bids shall be received by the Orleans Parish School Board (OPSB) until 2:00 P.M on October 13,
2026. It is the Architects intention to issue the last addendum on October 7, 2026 or at the latest
on the morning of October 8, 2026, so any questions shall be submitted timely to accommodate
the last addendum.
