The project consists of construction of the MRF Paving and Stormwater Improvements per plans. The Contractor shall provide and pay for labor, materials, construction equipment, tools, facilities, and services necessary for proper execution, testing, and completion of the Work. The completed work will provide the City with a pad for the location of stormwater storage/treatment tanks and a new pipe alignment to divert stormwater to these tanks. The above description of the Work is for general information only; and in no way limits the responsibility of the Contractor for accomplishing the Work in strict accordance with the Contract Documents.

The City of Santa Cruz was incorporated in 1866 and formed its current charter in 1948. It is governed under a Council/Manager form of government.
