Bowser-Morner, Inc. (BMI) has completed the authorized subsurface exploration and laboratory testing

for the above- referenced project.

The purpose of this exploration was to evaluate the subsurface conditions beneath the proposed bridge

replacement along County Road 213 over Green Creek. The attached report briefly reviews our

exploration procedures, describes existing site and subsurface conditions, and presents our laboratory

results.

For your convenience, soil samples are normally retained in our laboratory for a period of 60 days before

they are discarded. To view the samples or arrange for longer storage of samples, please contact us.

& MANDATORY INFORMATION

This BMI geotechnical report has been prepared for the exclusive use of the Sandusky County

Engineer for use in connection with the planned proposed bridge replacement along County

Road 213 over Green Creek in Green Creek Township, Sandusky County, Ohio. The data and

findings contained within this report are intended to:

 Aid the client in evaluating the feasibility of developing this site for the intended project,

 Provide the design engineer information that will make specific recommendations

concerning foundation support for the new bridge abutments.

This report is not a construction document. Although there is information within this report

that may assist experienced contractors and engineers in identifying risks and construction

issues that may develop over the course of this project, our scope of services did not include a

detailed review of potential constructability concerns.

Because this report was very likely prepared before structure orientations, grades, loads and

other features have been finalized, it is strongly recommended that BMI be retained to review

final design documents prior to the start of construction when potential weather impacts and

design requirements can be fully understood and addressed.

All reports remain the confidential property of BMI no publication or distribution of any portion

of this report may be made without our express written consent, except as authorized by

contract. Results contained in this report are reflective only of the items calibrated or tested.

Unless otherwise agreed, samples or specimens will be discarded or returned at BMI's discretion.

AASHTO/ISO 17025 accreditation applies only to the parameters included in BMI's current scope

of accreditation.
