Hilltop Road Sewer Improvements (Zone 1 - PE21207)

Sealed bids for construction of Hilltop Road Sewer Improvements Project (Zone 1) will be received until November 13th, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the City of Glennville City Hall at 134 S. Veterans Blvd, Glennville, GA 30427 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read. Any bid received after said time and date will not be considered by the Owner. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The work shall consist of furnishing all products and equipment and performing all labor necessary to perform the following: Sanitary sewerage system rehabilitation including, but not limited to, replacing 8¿ sewer mains with approximately 2,180 LF of 8¿ HDPE sewer mains using the pipe burst method and 290 LF of CIPP lining. The project will consist of sewer lateral replacement, manhole rehabilitation, removing and replacing asphalt, traffic control, and temporary/permanent grassing. Time allotted for completion of work is ninety (90) calendar days. Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents are on file at Parker Engineering, LLC. The Scope of Work as described herein is defined as ¿utility contracting¿ in accordance with O.C.G.A 43-14-2(17) so the Contractor performing the work must provide proof of a valid license by the State of Georgia as a ¿Utility Contractor¿ and must also employ a ¿Utility Manager¿ certification holder who will have oversight of all the work. See Instruction to Bidders for additional bidding requirements. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier¿s check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid. Funding is to be provided by American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and the City of Glennville. Contractor shall comply with E-Verify.
