The San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools (SUPERINTENDENT) is seeking a qualified vendor (VENDOR) to provide professional
installation and provisioning services for an owner-furnished cloud-based video surveillance system at eight (8) sites within San Bernardino
County. The SUPERINTENDENT has procured Verkada cameras, accessories, and software licenses. The selected VENDOR shall furnish all labor,
structured cabling, conduit, pathways, and incidental materials necessary for a complete and operational installation in accordance with
project requirements. Trenching between buildings to add required network pathways may be required at select locations to be determined.
The successful bidder shall commence work on or about June 8, 2026. All work for each site shall be completed by September 30, 2026. The
SUPERINTENDENT will meet with the successful Bidder to provide milestones for prioritized work to be completed, which will be agreed to in
the project schedule.
A mandatory pre-bid job walk will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. The job walk will begin at the Mountain View Administration
Building, located at 144 North Mt. View Ave., San Bernardino, CA 92408, and will conclude at the Norma Covert County Education Center,
located at 14079 Meadow Grove Dr., Victorville, CA 92392. Bidders must attend all seven (7) scheduled site locations in their entirety and sign
in at each site to be eligible to submit a bid. Late arrivals will not be admitted. Any bidder who fails to attend and sign in at all required
locations will be deemed non-responsive. The project consists of a total of eight (8) sites for camera installation. The job walk will include seven
(7) sites. Two (2) of the project sites are identical in layout and scope; therefore, only one of these sites will be visited during the job walk.
Contractor shall assume that both sites require identical equipment, installation, and configuration, unless otherwise noted in the bid
documents.
All bids must be directed to Front Desk Receptionist, 760 East Brier Drive, San Bernardino, CA 92408. Bids shall be clearly marked on the outside
of the sealed envelope with the vendor’s name and the BID information as follows: “BID ENCLOSED: BID NO. 25.26.1100 – SURVEILLANCE
SYSTEM INSTALLATION”. It is the sole responsibility of the contractor to deliver their bid to the Brier Receptionist where it will be dated, and
time-stamped. Bids shall remain open, valid, and subject to acceptance anytime within ninety (90) days after the BID opening date and
time.
Each proposer shall be a licensed contractor at the time the BID pursuant to the Business and Professions Code and such license(s) shall
remain in active and good standing for the duration of the contract. The proposer shall be licensed in one or more of the following:

Each bid must be accompanied by a Security Bond in the amount of Ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount. In accordance with the
provision of Public Contract Code Section 20111, substitution of eligible and equivalent securities under this contract will be permitted at the
request and expense of the proposer. The awarded vendor will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of the Total
Project Cost.
Pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5, a contractor and all subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations in
order to quote, bid on, be listed in a bid, or engage in the performance of any defined Public Works contract. The project is subject to all
requirements pursuant to Labor Code sections 1720 through 1815. Accordingly, payment of prevailing wages is mandatory. Proof of a valid
Contractor/Specialty license, DIR Registration, worker’s compensation, and liability insurance is required before any work begins. No
contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid or awarded a contract for public work unless currently registered with the DIR pursuant
to Labor Code section 1725.5. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR.
