The City will accept alternate manufacture proposals for this fiber optic cable. A data sheet for the proposed alternate must be submitted with this RFQ or the proposed item will not be evaluated. This is a one time purchase.

Background

The City of Palo Alto owns and operates all of its own Utilities, Water, Gas, Wastewater and Electric and is responsible for daily maintenance, any repairs, replacements or new services required throughout the City.
