The City of St. Joseph is hereby soliciting Proposals from insurance carriers who are professionally licensed to do business in the State of Missouri for a group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD, Section 125 Administration, Accident and Hospital Indemnity. Proposed programs may be fully insured or alternately funded group benefit programs.
The City of St. Joseph has contracted for consulting services with the firm of CBIZ Benefits & Insurance Services, Inc., who are named as exclusive Agent/Broker of Record. As such, there will be no commissions paid to other entities. Only insurance carriers who are capable of providing group insurance coverage as noted above may submit proposals. Any interested insurance carrier shall submit a written proposal for the City’s group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD, Section 125 Administration, and/or Accident and Hospital Indemnity. The City reserves the right to cancel this solicitation and/or reject any or all proposals in whole or in part for good cause when in the best interest of the City.
