This is a single source posting notification; there are no solicitation documents for download. Note this posting is not a Request for Bid (RFB) or Request for Proposal (RFP).
The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) intends to make a one-time purchase with Phenova Inc to provide Proficiency testing (PT) and Quality Control testing (QC) samples in a whole volume format for our testing.
This purchase has been deemed a single source as Phenova Inc is the only vendor identified that can provide this in a whole volume format. Other microbiological quality control samples are in a concentrated form that require dilutions. Our Drinking Water Protection Laboratories and staff are not equipped or trained in preparing lyophilized samples. These QC samples are required for the lab’s EPA demonstration of capability.
