The City of Ballwin seeks bids from qualified contractors to paint the metal slide structure and the elevator shaft at The Pointe at Ballwin Commons in accordance with the specifications listed below.
Sealed bids addressed to the City of Ballwin, 1 Ballwin Commons Circle, Ballwin, Missouri 63021 will be accepted by the City of Ballwin until 11:00 A.M. (prevailing local time) on the 19th day of December, 2025 at which time all bids received will be opened and read aloud. Copies of the Bid Documents may be obtained by contacting Chris Conway Director of Parks and Recreation at 636-227-8950, or cconway@ballwin.mo.us or by clicking here . Bid Documents include this Notice to Contractors, Instructions to Bidders, General Conditions, the Plans and Specifications, Bid Proposal form, Bid Bond form, proposed City-Contractor Agreement, Bidders Information Sheet form, Exhibits, and any Addenda issued prior to closing of the scheduled time for accepting bids.
Bids should be clearly marked “BID OPENING: 26-04: Slide Structure & Elevator Shaft Paint, Attention Chris Conway.” Bids shall be submitted on the Bid Proposal form provided. All work shall be performed according to City of Ballwin specifications. Addendum #1

Page 14 of RFP 26-04 under Technical Specifications - Metal Slide Structure, we would like to
add the metal stair tower to the bid package. The specifications are the same:
Prep and clean existing metal stairs, supports and railings..
Apply 1 coat of Macroepoxy 646 or equivalent.
Apply 2 coats of Acrolon or equivalent.
Color to match existing:
We would like a separate price for the stair tower.
*Also, Please note: The elevator portion of this project is for the outside of the elevator shaft.
