This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found at FAR Part 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This combined synopsis/solicitation shall be posted on both SAM Contract Opportunities (https://sam.gov/) and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/).
The Philadelphia Office of the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk Contracting Department intends to procure commercial services for Regulated Medical Waste (RMW) Disposal services in support of the Navy Drug Screening Laboratory in Jacksonville, FL. The solicitation, Request for Quotations (RFQ) N0018925QZ389, is included as an attachment to this combined synopsis/solicitation. Any questions in response to the solicitation are due by 2:00 PM Eastern Time (EST) on 14 July 2025. Quotations should be submitted by 11:30 AM ET on 17 July 2025 via email to the attention of Lauren Hardee (lauren.a.hardee.civ@us.navy.mil) and John Krystopowicz (john.e.krystopowicz.civ@us.navy.mil).
This requirement is being solicited as a 100% Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) set-aside. Any quotation received from a prime contractor that does not classify as a WOSB-certified firm will not be evaluated and will be immediately disqualified from consideration for award.
The issuance of a firm, fixed-price purchase order is anticipated. The applicable Product Service Code (PSC) and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code are S222 and 562112, respectively.
