Title: Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) Services for Rolling Hills Park and Adjacent Neighborhood Roadways
Addenda: 0
Release Date: 9/25/2024
Due Date: 11/13/2024
Seminole County is seeking the services of a qualified Consultant to provide Construction Manager at Risk Services for Rolling Hills Park, a golf course conversion in Seminole County, in close proximity to Interstate 4 and State Road 434. The site is approximately 100 acres and winds through an established residential neighborhood built primarily in the 1970s/1980s. Much of the former golf course site has significant grade changes and stormwater from the neighborhood and surrounding streets flows into the existing ponds/lakes. Periodic flooding has been a problem over the years and there are no clear existing “as built” plans that document the existing surrounding drainage infrastructure. The design of final lake modifications as a part of the project attempts to mitigate this flooding and provide better storage of stormwater from the surrounding neighborhood.
Also associated with the construction of the new park are roadway improvements designed to both calm neighborhood and cut-through traffic as well as enhance pedestrian safety at various at-grade crossings throughout the project area.
