GOOSE PASTURE #2 TIMBER SALE

This sale consists of an unmarked logger select second
thinning within the planted pine. The purchaser will leave 40
square feet of Basal Area per acre of the largest, best
formed trees in the residual stands. Logger will utilize the
loading decks and skid trails from the first thinning where
practical. The logging slash will be scattered back through
the stand. The DISTRICT PROJECT MANAGER will
routinely make an assessment of the timber harvest to
ensure the objectives are being met.
