Project Description: Sealed bids will be received online via PennBID on behalf of Tyrone Township, Blair County, until 1:00 p.m. (prevailing time) on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, for the fabrication, delivery, and placement of a three-sided concrete box culvert for the Township’s Sickles Corner Back Road culvert replacement project.
Bids will be publicly opened and read at 1:01 p.m. (prevailing time) on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the Tyrone Township Municipal Building, 109 Snare Drive, Tyrone, PA 16686, by the Township Staff.
Award for the Contract may be made by the Board of Supervisors to the lowest responsible bidder, as determined by the Board, at a special meeting, Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 6:00 p.m., held at the Tyrone Township Municipal Building.
Bid documents may be obtained at no cost, via PennBID at www.pennbid.net.
All proposals must be submitted electronically on the PennDOT bid documents which will be supplied by the Township, and each proposal must be accompanied by security as outlined in the bid documents.
Bids will remain subject to acceptance for the period of 90 days, but the Township may, in its sole discretion, release any bid and return the bid security prior to the end of this period.
Tyrone Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids.
