Summary
Basement Dehydration Installation
Provide a building survey to verify location of dehydration units (antenna).
Furnish and install the Dehydration system in areas with high conductivity reading (by Hydrometer) over 100 on internal masonry walls and concrete slabs. Antennas to be installed through the affected areas as required to maximize the frequencies required to pull the damp away.
Provide a follow-up moisture measurement assessment until building areas are dry.
A Preconstruction Conference will be required prior to start of Work.
AREA OF WORK:
Basement areas and lower that have a Hydrometer reading of 100 or greater.
Contracted company to provide and install as required. The equipment does not require electricity.
COORDINATION:
The majority of the Work can take place during normal business hours. Normal Business hours are 7:00 am-5:00 pm. The Company to coordinate with Owner/Tenants. Weekends and State Holidays have no time constraint as coordinated with Facility Manager and tenant.
The State shall issue one (1) card key to the Company’s Project Manager. The Company’s Project Manager will be held responsible for his/her employees’ access and behavior. Any employee wandering around the building and/or displaying any improper behavior will be removed from the building and not be allowed to return.
TIMELINE: Five (5) Calendar days.
Warranty:
Company to Provide a 3-year dry-out guarantee
Company to provide a 25-year functional warranty on the building dehydration system. Company to add or replace units if deemed necessary at no cost to the Owner
