The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, bonds, licenses, insurance, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to replace roll-up doors, operators, and a fire-rated counter door, including removal, installation, safety sensors, testing, and finish repairs, in compliance with UL 325 and NFPA 80 standards. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov and shall include the Contracting Administrator listed in this IFB as a copied recipient. Subject line must include the IFB No. 131868, Door Repair & Door Operator Replacement and Contractor Business Name.

Contractors are not required to visit the worksite.-Contractors are responsible for satisfying themselves as to the local conditions, to accurately measure and ensure the actual area of work for the preparation of their bid.-Contractors providing a bid without visiting the worksite, do so at their own risk.-Contractors can schedule a worksite visit by contacting CPT Garrett Sawtelle at garrett.sawtelle@cmd.ca.gov, (714) 631-2063, or SSG Joe Zelaya at joe.zelaya@cmd.ca.gov, (209) 345-7083.

The prime contractor MUST possess a type D-28 - Doors, Gates and Activating Devices license.

If an addendum is necessary, it will be issued prior to the Bid Submission Deadline. The bid opening will be held on 9/1/2026 at 2:15 PM.
