North Seton Avenue Waterline Replacement and Green Street Improvements

The Mayor and Commissioners of Emmitsburg, Maryland are requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for mobilization, maintenance of traffic, construction stakeout, sediment & erosion control, the replacement of approximately 1,900 feet of 8-inch ductile iron water line, replacement of fire hydrants and copper water services, storm drain, stormwater management, curb & gutter asphalt milling, asphalt paving and concrete sidewalks, site restoration landscaping, and other related items necessary to complete the project on North Seton Avenue. Interested bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting to be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at the Town Office located on the second floor of 300A South Seton Avenue, Emmitsburg, MD 21727. A non-mandatory site visit will occur following the meeting.

Bids will be accepted by the Town until 3:00 PM on Monday, August 18, 2025 , at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud via the Zoom meeting platform.

All responses to questions will be addressed in the form of an official Addendum and will be posted on the Town website under “Public Bidding.” The deadline for questions is Monday, August 11, 2025 at 9:00 a.m.
