Update, repair and refresh the two shower houses and one restroom at Kelleys Island State Park

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is requesting bids for: The Division of Parks and Watercraft Kelleys Island State Park shower houses and one restroom is looking to refresh, repair and update the shower house.
MBE SET-ASIDE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ORC 125.081
Name or Title of the Service : Update, repair and refresh two shower houses and one restroom at Kelleys Island State Park.
Location: Kelley’s Island State Park 920 Division Street Kelleys Island, OH 43438.

Specifications :

1. Remove stall doors, mirrors and toilet paper dispensers
2. Prep, prime and paint inside walls of two shower houses and one restroom, one at a time.

1. Prime and paint wood ceiling, solid door and wooden trim. Gloss white paint on the ceilings and gloss medium blue walls.
2. Paint conduits and other pipes
3. Replace 15 toilet stall doors and add 8 shower doors with solid plastic doors.
4. Replace wood on 20 benches with solid composite.
5. The building does not have heat.

Evaluation. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as determined by the State.
Contract Award. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder by line item.

Once a contract is awarded, failure of the bidder to have requested a site visit to become familiar with the facility and requirements of the bid will be insufficient reason to support any request to be released from the contract.
