Description
The purpose of this project is to repair the damaged pier head on the west breakwater in Port Burwell, On. The project site described is located in the Port Burwell Harbour (42°37'56.4"N 80°48'33.3"W) in Port Burwell, Ontario, on the North shore of Lake Erie.
The work under this contract covers:
Base bid:
• Demolition of designated areas of the existing concrete pier head (removals to be used as fill).
• Supply and installation of new core stone as indicated on the drawings.
• Supply and installation of new armour stone, to encapsulate the existing Pier head as indicated on the drawings.
Option 1:
• Supply and installation of additional new armour stone to fill voids in existing breakwater and pier head.
Option 2:
• Supply and installation of additional new armour stone to fill voids in existing breakwater and pier head.
The estimated contract period will be 2 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2025/08/11.
