Household Hazardous Materials Collection

The City of North Augusta will receive bids for the Household Hazardous Materials Collection until 4:00pm on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read.

The City of North Augusta Stormwater Management Department (SWMD) is requesting proposals from qualified and certified hazardous waste event operators and transporters to conduct a one-day collection event for household hazardous wastes in 2025 and in 2026. The City intends to hold one event in 2025 and one event in 2026 at City of North Augusta Public Safety Headquarters (NA PSHQ) at 1210 Georgia Avenue in North Augusta.

The first event will be held Saturday, May 17, 2025 and will last 3 hours: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The deadline for receipt of sealed proposals is 4:00 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2025. Proposals received after this time will not be accepted. Bidders are encouraged to attend the bid opening, but are not required to be present. Sealed proposals will be opened at address above, promptly at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2025. If not in attendance at the opening, all bidders will be notified of the results of the event no later than Friday, March 28, 2025.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and parts of any bid, and to waive formalities and technicalities. Bids will be required to remain open for acceptance or rejection for thirty (30) calendar days after the date of opening the bids.
