Solicitation Description:
The Metro Transit Police Department (MTPD) aims to enhance its Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) unit by procuring 10 small platform robots. These robots will improve the efficiency and safety of operations involving the examination of suspicious packages and navigation in confined spaces within the transit system. The project includes the purchase, deployment, and training for these robots, with a total budget of $1.2 million funded through the FY 2024 TSGP. The robots will be deployed across various districts within the National Capital Region (NCR).
