Drainage Basin Construction Project

Project Description: The City of Bowling Green, Kentucky is soliciting bids for construction of the Fair Street Drainage Basin Project, which includes development of a stormwater detention basin and associated drainage improvements to improve stormwater management in the Fair Street area.
The project generally consists of basin excavation and grading, installation of a drywell structure, installation of storm sewer beneath Fair Street, construction of a headwall and drainage structures, and grading of an open drainage ditch. Additional work includes installation of perimeter fencing with an access gate, limited concrete pavement replacement, erosion control measures, and restoration of disturbed areas.
Existing residential structures and associated utility services located at 1039 and 1041 Fair Street will be demolished and backfilled prior to the start of this contract and are not included in the scope of this project.
The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, traffic control, erosion control, and incidentals necessary to complete the project in accordance with the plans, specifications, and bid documents.
