This project generally consists of the reconstruction of an existing tennis and basketball court with the addition of a pickleball court. Reconstruction will involve the removal of the existing bituminous court surfaces along with nets and hoops. The tennis court fence will remain as part of the base bid with the remaining fencing to be removed. The existing basketball court will be realigned to allow the proposed pickleball court to fit within the existing project area and will require minor grading and a stone wall removal to complete final grading. Drainage improvements will also be included as part of the base bid along with the application of an athletic court surface treatment and the installation of new hoops and nets. As part of an add alternate for the project, the bidder shall include pricing for the replacement of the tennis court fencing as shown on plans.
