Habersham County School District is requesting quotes for
Waste Management Services at the following locations:
Baldwin Elementary, Clarkesville Elementary, Cornelia Elementary, Demorest Elementary,
HCSD Facilities and Maintenance Department, HCSD Transportation Department,

Fairview Elementary, Hazel Grove Elementary, Level Grove Elementary, Woodville Elementary,
Hilliard A. Wilbanks Middle, North Habersham Middle, South Habersham Middle,
Habersham Ninth Grade Academy, HCSD Technology Department, Habersham Central High School and
Agricultural Center, HCSD Food Service Lab, and HCSD Administrative Offices

As advertised:
7. CONTRACT

a. First contract shall be for the period of July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 with Habersham County School
District having the option of contract extensions annually for up to four additional years. Extension will be
based upon satisfactory performance by the vendor and the needs of the school system.

b. Habersham County Board of Education requires that all prices remain unchanged during contract period
July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.

With correction:

7. CONTRACT

a. First contract shall be for the period of July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 with Habersham County School
District reserving the option of annual automatic contract extensions for up to four additional years.

b. Habersham County Board of Education requires that all prices remain unchanged during the first contract
period July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.

c. Annual contract extension will be based upon satisfactory performance by the vendor and the needs of
the school system.

d. The awarded vendor will be entitled to request annual contract price increases for inflation, based upon
the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for category 'All Items', not seasonally adjusted, as published by the U.S.
Bureau of Labor Statistics in March of the year of contract extension. Example: March 2027 for July 2027.
