Office on Homeless Services Request for Proposals for Social Services to Homeless 2027

The Mercer County Department of Human Services, Office on Homeless Services (OHS), is accepting proposals for programs that support individuals and families experiencing or at-risk of homelessness in Mercer County. Funding is available across multiple services categories supported by Social Services for the Homeless State grant funds for (6) six-months, January 1, 2027, through June 30, 2027, with two (2) one-year options to extend from July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2028, and July 1, 2028, through June 30, 2029.
The Office on Homeless Services seeks to continue its commitment to a multi-layered strategy to reduce and end homelessness and increase housing stability across Mercer County. This RFP seeks to continue the commitment to the Housing First philosophy and supports programming that serves Mercer County residents who are experiencing chronic homelessness or who are at imminent risk of being homeless. Programs should reflect a system-level approach to reduce homelessness, increase access to services, and house residents as quickly as possible.
