Project Description: The application of chip and scrub seal treatments using lightweight aggregates for the 2025 Scrub and Chip Seal Project. The Work includes double treatments of scrub seal (using Type II lightweight chip) followed by application of chip seal (Type I lightweight chip) on various collector streets and single treatment of chip seal using Type I lightweight chip on a collector street. The Work may include an application of scrub seal and a double application of scrub/chip seal on a collector street as an add alternate.
