Description

This is part of the ongoing Cultus Lake Smallmouth Bass suppression program that is being done in partnership with DFO. The vendor with their vessel, which is equipped with an electrofishing unit, will be available to charter DFO and WLRS staff on Cultus Lake for ten days of operation between May 12 and June 13, 2025. The vendor will operate the electrofishing unit of the vessel in a manner that allows DFO and WLRS staff to capture smallmouth bass from the lake and either euthanize them, or collect biological data and apply a passive integrated transponder (PIT) tag to captured fish.
