Notice of Intent - Sole Source- Lake Cumberland Solar Panel Array Expansion

SOLE SOURCE ANNOUNCEMENT

This is an advance notice announcing the intent of the Nashville District (LRN) U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to award a sole-source firm-fixed price contract to Solar Alliance Southeast, LLC. to expand existing solar panels that they installed in a 2022 contract.

This sole source is necessary as to not void the active five (5) year warranty that covered the initial installation of solar panels in 2022.

Description of Work: The contract will add solar panels, optimizers, combiner panel, wire, conduit, and system integration into the existing solar array.

The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors with a size standard of $19.0M. The proposed contract action is for construction in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(i).
