Notice is hereby given that Capital Region Water has adopted the Minority Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Plan to ensure that minority, women, and other disadvantaged business enterprises have an equal opportunity to receive and participate in all project-related construction contracts. Following the submission of MWDBE documentation in compliance with contract documents, it is the intent of Capital Region Water to ensure nondiscrimination in the award and administration of contracts, to create a level playing field on which minority, women, veteran, service-disabled-veteran, and LGBT-owned business enterprises can compete fairly for Capital Region Water contracts and subcontracts, to help remove barriers to the participation of minority, women, veteran, service-disabled veteran, and LGBT-owned business enterprises and to assist the development of firms that can compete successfully in the marketplace outside of this program.
