RFSQ - Zone 7 & 8 Transmission Pipeline and Meter Vault

Project Description: South Jordan City desires to receive Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from construction companies (hereinafter referred to as Contractors) to construct the South Jordan City Zone 7 & 8 Transmission Pipeline and Meter Vault. The intent of this solicitation is to pre-qualify a minimum of three (3) and a maximum of five (5) Contractors who will be invited to participate in a closed Request for Bid (RFB) process to perform these construction services.
The process is a two-step process. This first step is the pre-qualification phase. Once qualified, the Contractors will be invited to a closed Request for Bid.
Pre-qualification process is mandatory and only prequalified contractors will be allowed to submit a bid.
The PROJECT will consist of:
42-inch HDPE Pipeline. Furnishing and installation of roughly 7,844 feet of 42-inch HDPE pipeline from approximately 12124 S on Bacchus Highway to 7028 West and 11800 South. This part of the project includes the installation of valves, tees, fittings, connection to existing water system, connection to future water tank, commission of transmission line, and miscellaneous appurtenances to the pipelines. Coordination with another agency’s contractor will be required.
Meter Vault. Construction of a JVWCD meter vault, 30” welded steel pipeline connecting to JVWCD aqueduct and new 42-inch HDPE Pipeline, combination air valve boxes, tank drain outlet box, asphalt patch restoration in the South Jordan City right-of-way, and all appurtenances necessary for a fully operational meter vault. This part of the project includes electrical connections and work associated with the valve vault and telemetry wiring for a RTU.
Project also includes sampling, testing, and handling of potential contaminated soils in accordance with a soil management work plan approved by the Utah Division of Environmental Response and Remediation.
Anticipated date of Notice to Proceed: October 2025.
Proposals will be received until the closing date and time listed on Bonfire, the State of Utah’s Procurement website. All proposals shall be submitted online at Bonfire.
