Description
This ITT is an invitational solicitation run via one of BC Housing’s region-specific prequalified rosters for Prime Contractors. This second stage ITT has been posted publicly to enable Subcontractors and/or Trades who are interested in participating in the project to connect with the invited prequalified Bidders listed below.
Only the invited, prequalified Bidders listed below may participate in the bidding process and attend the mandatory site visit.

MANDATORY INFORMATION MEETING
Bidders must attend a site visit on the specified date and time below:

Time: 10:00 am PT
Location of Site Meeting: 2175 Burtch Rd, Kelowna, BC (meet at Amenity building)
Subcontractor Attendance is Mandatory.
Site visits begin promptly at the time, date and location specified above.
A sign-in sheet will be provided, and all Bidders are required to sign in. Note that submissions will only be reviewed for those Bidders who have attended and signed the sign-in sheet. No exceptions to this will be permitted.
All questions and enquiries from the site visit must be submitted to the ITT Contact person prior to the date and time as per section 3.2 Timetable.
Representatives of your firm attending a site visit must provide and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
Brief Description of Work
The work includes mechanical upgrades to replace existing poly-b piping in the townhouses and common amenity building, and to provide cooling for each of the units, and as further set out below:Appendix E – Specifications and Drawings
Exclusion of United States Based Suppliers
Suppliers based in the United States are excluded from responding to this ITT. BC Housing reserves the right, at its discretion, to allow United States based suppliers to respond, in the event no reasonable alternatives are available.
The successful Bidder must cascade this requirement to subcontractors and suppliers engaged in the performance of the resulting contract. The successful Bidder shall be responsible for verifying and demonstrating compliance with this requirement and shall provide evidence of such compliance upon request by BC Housing.
Description of the work required:
The project scope of work includes the following:
Re-piping in residential units and common amenity building to replace poly-b with pex
Replacement of bathtub and surrounds, including new shower heads and valves
Replacement of bathroom exhaust fan and kitchen hood fans
Replacement of electrical panels
Replacement of baseboard heaters
New multi-head heat pump systems in townhouses and common amenity building, to be interlocked with baseboard heaters
New ERVs
Miscellaneous landscaping work to facilitate install of condensing units
Estimated construction time is 1 year.
Mobilization date: 14 days after Notice to Proceed
Tenant relocation/respite: Two vacant units will be available for tenant impact.
