Description
The University of British Columbia, Faculty of Applied Science, intends to acquire a Fluorescence Microscope capable of real-time, multi-channel imaging to enable in situ monitoring of multiple redox-active fluorescent species within porous electrodes in electrochemical carbon capture systems. This system will support research on organic compounds whose fluorescence properties vary with redox state and CO₂ complexation, allowing spatial and temporal mapping of redox processes within transparent electrochemical cells. This project is funded by CFI.
