Solicitation Summary
Sealed proposals shall be submitted in duplicate and received by the offices of the Board of Education of Allegany County, 108 Washington Street, Cumberland, MD 21502 until
2:00 PM local time August 21, 2025, for the Lower Level Window Replacement at Westernport Elementary School in Westernport, Maryland. Thereafter, such proposals shall be publicly opened and read aloud. The sealed proposals will be in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared for the Owner by the design team led by Bushey Feight Morin Architects Inc., telephone 301.733.5600.
Work includes supply and installation of aluminum windows on the lower level (first floor) of the Westernport Elementary School including all panning and sill modifications to the existing facility to accommodate the new fixed windows.

Additional Instructions
Bonafide Prime Contractors may obtain electronic files in pdf. format (drawings and specifications) after August 4, 2025 upon request via email to BFM Architects Inc. Michael Gehr (mgehr2@bfmarchitects.com) and Wendy Taylor (wtaylor@bfmarchitects.com) . Upon award of the Contract, the successful Contractor shall utilize the electronic documents for printing additional sets required for construction. Any addenda will be provided electronically to the list of bidders.
