Project Description: Pennsylvania College of Technology is seeking bids for a: Single prime contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for the renovation of the Plumbing Lab located in the Kenneth Carl Building Technologies Center. The project scope includes selective demolition and disposal of existing lab training pods, stairs, and associated components, and furnish replacement in kind with new HVAC, lighting, paint, and clerestory windows. Bidding documents are available at no cost, via the PennBid Program (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com). A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, 1 April 2026. Prospective bidders will meet at the north, main entrance to the Kenneth Carl Building Technologies Center, located at 1031 West 3rd Street, Williamsport, PA. Bids will be accepted until 2:30 PM on Wednesday, 15 April 2026, via the PennBid Program. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond of an approved Surety Company, certified check, or cashier’s check in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the proposal. Bond or check shall be drawn in favor of Pennsylvania College of Technology. This project is a project constituting public works and is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, of August 15, 1961, P.L. as amended and supplemented. Bids must be in the hands of the undersigned at the stated date and time, when bids will be electronically opened. The College reserves the right to waive any informalities in bidding, reject any or all bids, select a single item from any bid, or accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the College.
