Bid Type: Job Contract Locations: Chittenden Keywords: Construction (Non Building) Bid Description: City of Winooski (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: 2026 Brisson Court and Cedar Street Stormwater Bumpouts, Contract No. STR-27-01. Sealed Bids for the construction of the Project, submitted in an opaque package labeled “RFB STR-27-01” will be received at Winooski City Hall, attn: Finance Director, located at 27 West Allen Street, Winooski, VT 05404, until Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 12:00 pm local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. A Bid tabulation will be sent to all Bidders after Bid opening. The Project includes the following Work: Installation of three stormwater bioretention bumpouts along curblines; relocation of portions of three sanitary sewer force mains and maintenance of wastewater flows during construction; installation of new cast-in-place concrete curbing around the Brisson Court cul-de-sac and the three bumpouts; adjusting frames and grates or covers on existing catch basins and manhole structures; resurfacing of bituminous concrete pavement; and all associated earthwork, erosion protection and sediment control, and traffic control. The Project has a Substantial Completion deadline of Friday, September 4, 2026, and a Final Completion deadline of Friday, September 18, 2026. Information and Advertisement for Bids for the Project can be found at the designated website, https://www.winooskivt.gov/bids.aspx, which will be updated periodically with addenda. Prospective Bidders shall contact the Owner via email (rlambert@winooskivt.gov) with inquiries and requests for Bidding Documents, prior to the Inquiry Deadline of Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 12:00 pm local time. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the Owner. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Engineer. Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid security in accordance with the Bidding Documents. Prospective Bidders shall note that Performance and Payment bonds are required under the contract. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
