Fire Station #1 HVAC Improvements - Ottawa, KS

The City of Ottawa, KS is inviting Bids for the Work involving the replacement of existing HVAC equipment at Fire Station #1 in Ottawa, KS as designated in the Bid Documents.

BG Consultants’ Project No. 25-1273

BG Consultants will receive bids on behalf of the City of Ottawa, Kansas for a Contract for the Project.

Qualified Contractors may submit as the General Contractor for this Work.

Bids will be accepted by the following methods: 1) submitted in a sealed envelope delivered to City of Ottawa, City Hall at 101 S Hickory St. Ottawa, Kansas 66067 by Tuesday, June 25, 2026 at 1:00pm. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud by BG Consultants immediately proceeding bid submission.

Recommendations for award will be presented to the City Council meeting on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.

Bidding Documents may be examined and obtained online, on or after Friday, May 29, 2026, via the Drexel Technologies, Inc. Planroom, http://planroom.drexeltech.com/View/Default.aspx , Bidding Documents may also be examined upon request at BG Consultants, Inc., located at 1405 Wakarusa Drive, Lawance, Kansas 66049.

All Bidders are subject to and must comply with applicable state and federal anti-discrimination laws.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in the bidding.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 10:00 am, located at 720 W 2nd St. Ottawa, Kansas 66067, immediately followed by a tour of the project site.

Bidders are encouraged to visit the site prior to the Bid opening to satisfy themselves with the existing conditions. No allowances shall be made to bidders for negligence for not visiting the site.

Bids shall not contain any recapitulation of the work to be done. No oral, telegraphic, or telephonic proposals or modification will be considered.

All bids shall be submitted sealed in envelopes and titled:
