This is a Request for Information (RFI). Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support, Subsistence Supply Chain, is interested in your comments regarding full-service Composite Food Packages - Flameless Ration Heater (FRH) and Heater Module, Heater Assembled (URG-E) support to our military customers.
This will include the management of current 3.9 million FRHs.DLA has new requirement which will require the production of 160k flat packs. Flat packs consist of the heater and tray that go into the UGR-E lunch and dinner menus. The inventory will be owned by the Government and managed by the vendor to ensure that shelf life is protected by rotating through the inventory
