Summary

PROJECT NAME: Old Town Facade Program Construction Project at 17053 D Street and 15593 7th Street

Background

The City of Victorville ("City") is currently offering the Old Town Commercial Facade Improvement Program ("Program") to assist qualified commercial Property Owners to enhance the appearance of their storefronts in the Old Town Area. The objective of the Program is to facilitate commercial revitalization, stimulate private investment, preserve, and beautify commercial corridors and improve the visual aesthetics of commercial building facades. The Program is intended to assist projects that promote retail activities, create an attractive environment, encourage neighborhood character and architectural design, use quality materials, and incorporate good design concepts.

The Property Owners of the buildings located at 17053 D Street and 15593 7th Street submitted applications and supporting documentation to participate in the Program and were deemed eligible to participate. Funding is provided by HUD Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") Program funds with payment of construction tasks made by the City of Victorville upon inspection approval. This particular project must be completed by May of 2026.
