Meriwether County is accepting sealed bids for the purchase of property located at 137 S. Court Square, Greenville, GA 30222. The minimum acceptable bid (reserve price) is $115,000.
Pre-bid walkthroughs will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. and Friday, August 15, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the property. Attendance is encouraged for those interested in submitting a bid. Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025. Sealed Bids must be submitted to the Meriwether County Administration Office, 17234 Roosevelt Highway, Building B, Greenville, GA 30222. All bids must be sealed and clearly marked on the exterior of the envelope as follows:

Each bid must include the bidder¿s name and contact information, the offer amount, a statement accepting the property as-is, and a signature. Sealed Bids will be publicly opened at 2:00 p.m. on September 5, 2025, at the Meriwether County Administration Office. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after the opening date. Meriwether County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities or informalities.
