Jerry Murphy Vault Lid Materials

The City of Pueblo is soliciting bids to acquire the materials for a storm inlet vault lid that was damaged in response to an emergency clean out. The materials include (1) 2-1/2” X 3/16” Steel Bar Grate 8’ 6” X 8’ 6”, (4) 6” X 6” X 3/4” Angle Iron 7' 6", and (24) 5/8” X 7” concrete wedge anchor bolts.

The City of Pueblo’s Stormwater Department in response to an emergency hired a contractor to remove an existing concrete vault lid that had limited access through one 24” DIA manhole lid. The limited access made it impossible to adequately clean the vault causing upstream flooding and unsafe hydraulic conditions. The decision was made to remove the vault lid in response to these conditions. The City is now soliciting for the materials for a steel bar grate vault top that would allow easy access for the Stormwater Maintenance Crew to be able to clean the vault.
