The purpose of this Request for Quotes (RFQ) is to enter into a contract or purchase order with the responsive and responsible vendor that submits the lowest cost to provide: for Artificial fish habitat structures: 20 Mossback Safe Haven Kit, 15 Mossback Safe Haven XL Kit, 20 Mossback Trophy Tree Kit, 35 Mossback Trophy Tree XL Kit, 10 Mossback Root Wad Kit, and 15 Mossback Fry Fortress artificial habitat structures in highly used and approved areas within the Provo River arm of Jordanelle Reservoir to provide opportunities for both anglers and forage fish recruitment. Biologists rely heavily on natural reproduction to maintain sustainable populations of these fish, which is why habitat enhancement is crucial to supporting it. Additionally, poor growth rates of small mouth Bass indicate a Lack of food available at important early life stages. Please provide a cost sheet.
Evaluation of Quotes: Each quote received shall be evaluated for responsiveness in as outlined in the Utah Procurement Code. This RFQ shall be evaluated by the objective criteria described in this RFQ. Quotes submitted must comply with the specification identified in this RFQ. Multiple or alternate quotes will not be accepted. If a vendor submits multiple or alternate quotes, the State will only accept the bidder's primary bid and will not accept any other bids constituting multiple or alternate bids. Any exceptions to the content of this RFQ, including the specifications, must be protested in writing to the Division of Purchasing prior to the closing date. The Division of Purchasing may solicit other quotes via email, phone, or other methods as permitted by the Utah Procurement Code or applicable Administrative Rules.
