1.1 PROJECT INFORMATION

A. Notice to Bidders: Qualified bidders may submit bids for project as described in this Document. Submit bids according to the Instructions to Bidders.

B. Project Identification: Coffeyville HS Natatorium Roof Replacement & Renovations.

E. Project Description: Project consists of the demolition of the existing natatorium roof and reinstallation of a new roof, along with a new RTU to server the natatorium. Renovations include new door replacements, new glass guardrail, new paint, cleaning of pool deck as well as a few alternates for a new entry vestibule and changing rooms and small restroom suite.

F. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work:

1. General Contract (all trades).

1.2 BID SUBMITTAL AND OPENING

A. Owner will receive printed/hard copy, sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows:

1. Bid Date: Wednesday, July 15, 2026 .

2. Bid Time: Bids due no later than 2 PM .

3. Location: Coffeyville Public Schools District Office, Attn: Michael Speer, Deputy Superintendent of Schools. 615 S Ellis, Coffeyville, KS 67337.

B. Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud.

1.3 BID SECURITY

A. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any or all legal reasons, and to waive informalities and irregularities.

1.4 PREBID MEETING

A. A Prebid meeting for all bidders will be held at the project location – Field Kindley High School on Wednesday July 1, 2026 at 11 AM, local time . Prospective prime bidders are required to attend.

1.5 DOCUMENTS

A. Online Procurement and Contracting Documents: Obtain access to documents on Thursday, June 18, 2026 , through Drexel Technologies, Inc – www.drexeltech.com . Online access will be provided to all registered bidders and suppliers through Drexel’s online plan room.

B. All costs associated to acquiring the documents is the bidder’s responsibility and not a reimbursable expense.

1.6 TIME OF COMPLETION

A. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time.

1.7 BIDDER'S QUALIFICATIONS

A. Bidders must provide requested qualification items as listed in the 004314 – Bidder’s Qualification Forms section.

B. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
