The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking bids to: replace W-beam that was hit on the ramp from HWY 13 SB to HWY 30 EB at Mile Marker 259.4.
This is project is exempt from state sales tax.
Insurance listing the Iowa DOT as additional insured will be required prior to the project starting.

Questions

Until the contract is awarded the sole point of contact for this project is Tanner Thomsen (see bid contract information) any and all questions related to this project are to be submitted to Tanner Thomsen in writing preferably through the ION wave Bid system. (See the cut off period for question submissions).

Site Visit:

Site visits are required. Interested bidders can schedule a site visit with the Purchasing Agent listed on the solicitation via email at tanner.thomsen@iowadot.us

DOT will coordinate with staff and send you confirmation once the site visit has been scheduled.
Contractors will be required to bring their own equipment needed for the site visit.

Contract Award

It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible contractor whose submitted quote is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Other factors may also include a comprehensive review of bidders past work performance, and work capacity.
One contract will be awarded for all items. All items are tied.
