Summary

The Tarrant Regional Water District (Owner) is requesting Proposals for the construction of the following Project:

CEDAR CREEK SECTION IV PIPELINE REPLACEMENT AND CEDAR CREEK LAKE PUMP STATION IMPROVEMENTS



Background

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The work includes demolishing approximately 780 linear feet of existing PCCP header and yard piping connecting the pump station to the current 72 inch transmission main; installing about 885 linear feet of new header and yard piping with all associated structural, mechanical, and electrical components to connect the pump station to a proposed 90 inch transmission main; installing 42,298 linear feet of 90 inch welded steel pipe from the Cedar Creek Pump Station westward to a tie-in with the existing 72 inch main approximately 2,600 feet east of the Trinity River; installing two 72 inch venturi meters with vaults and appurtenances; plugging and grouting about 507 linear feet of existing 72 inch PCCP; demolishing all electrical, safety, and instrumentation components in the former chlorine, ammonia, and caustic feed rooms; relocating the caustic feed skid to a new caustic feed room; and installing and integrating new low- and high-head caustic feed systems with the existing infrastructure. The work also includes the installation of two (2) monolithic isolation joints and all incidental work at the Ennis Booster Pump Station suction and discharge headers.
