    The North Carolina Department of Public Safety Emergency Management Division and the
    Department of Transportation are requesting bids for standard bridge replacement on private
    roads located at 477 Gouge Cove Rd, Bakersville, NC in Mitchell County to be let at 2:00 PM on
    Wednesday, March 11, 2026.
    The availability date for this project is April 15, 2026.
    The completion date for this project is October 15, 2026.
    Because of the unusual nature of the work involved and in order for all prospective bidders
    to have extensive knowledge of the project, an open, virtual Pre-Bid Conference will be held
    for all interested parties on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
