The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (the "Authority") will receive sealed bids for the Lawn on D Temporary Kitchen Installation project, located in Boston MA, at the Administrative offices of the Authority at 415 Summer Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02210, until 12:00PM (Noon) local time on May 08, 2026, immediately after which, in a designated room, the bids will be opened and read publicly.
Sealed Filed Sub-Bids for the same project for the sub-trades listed below will be received at the same office until12:00 p.m. local time on May 01, 2026 immediately after which, in a designated room, the filed sub-bids will be opened and read publicly. The purpose of this project is to perform site improvements, utility, and enabling work to provide the MCCA with the infrastructure for the installation of two prefabricated kitchen containers at 400 D Street, Lawn on D. Additional work includes fencing, gates, walkways, and concrete pads to support the work. The kitchen containers will be prefabricated by others. The kitchen containers will need power and water services installed under this project by a licensed electrician and a licensed plumber. Final installation and connections of the kitchen containers will be by a 3rd party Vendor. A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM, on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, onsite at the Thomas Michael Menino Convention and Exhibition Center, Boston, Massachusetts. Bidders will have an opportunity to visit the site of the work after the pre-bid conference. The pre-bid conference will start at the entrance to the Lawn On D located at 420 D St, Boston, MA 02210. Questions or requests for information, clarification or interpretation of the bidding documents must be submitted in writing to procurement@massconvention.com in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be received no later than 5:00 PM, April 17, 2026. Each general bid on this contract must be accompanied by a copy of a Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) showing that the bidder has the classification and capacity rating to perform the work required. In order to be eligible to bid on this contract, a general bidder must be certified for the estimated project cost of $200,000.00 and for the following category of work: Prime Contractors – General Building Construction Each filed sub-bid must also be accompanied by a Contractor Qualification Update Statement. The Authority will furnish copies of the Contractor Qualification Update Statement form to any bidder on request. Any bid submitted without the appropriate Certificate of Eligibility and Contractor Qualification Update Statement shall be invalid. In order to be eligible to bid on this contract, all sub bidders must be certified for the estimated filed sub bid cost below. FILED SUB-BIDS FOR THIS PROJECT: Electrical Work: $88,000 |
